Multiple regression analysis and statistical analysis are employed to define the influential factors of management performance in the hotel industry. The outcome from this analysis is as below ; Firstly, major factors influencing hotel management performance are various ; liquidity ratio, debt ratio, receivables turnover, and fixed asset turnover among financial factors ; raw material ratio, labor cost ratio, direct expense ratio, and A&BP expense ratio among expense factors ; size of the enterprise (asset) as control variables are presented. Secondly, debt ratio among financial factors and labor cost ratio and direct expense ratio among expense factors are identified as most influential factors on the management performance of the hotel industry according to the actual result drawn from the multiple regression analysis. Thirdly. Hotel Shilla shows the highest raw material cost ratio and Plaza hotel shows the highest labor cost ratio among expense factors. These hotels that show high expense ratio are considered as hotels of poor performance due to low ROE and ROI. Fourthly, the hotel management need to put more emphasis on lowering debt ratio through diversification of its business area, capital increase, and introduction of foreign capital need to have tighter control over expense factors such as labor cost and direct expense to be on a competitive edge and improve management performance.
