This study suggests a strategic management of event participants through a differential analysis for expectation and satisfaction. Especially Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) was used for event participants to suggest a strategic management. Based on the empirical analysis of this study change of life pattern was included in quadrant I which is needed for a high concentration. This means that it has to put more effort on enhancement of program to change life pattern for event participants. In quadrant II seven variables such as educational effect, learning opportunity, chance of getting knowledge, chance for seeing different things, chance for seeing special event, chance for seeing special circumstance, and chance for changing life were included. In quadrant III eight variables such as chance for enjoying exhibition for a family, chance for more close-relation for a family, chance for spending more time for a family, chance for releasing daily stress, chance for seeing exhibition with friends, chance for enjoying cultural event with friends, chance for seeing people who have similar hobby were included. However both BEXCO (Busan Exhibition and Convention Center) and participants were not interested in these variables. In quadrant IV, none of any variables was included. BEXCO treated this quadrant as important, but participants were not much concerned. The differential analysis for group between Emperor Jinxi and Flattering Korean Flag showed no difference for most factors except for escape from daily life. Therefore these two events can be treated as a similar one. This study indicated it is necessary to concentrate a management for low priorities which were selected from event participants.
