The purpose of this study was to suggest improvements and developmental directions on exhibition of native aquatic plants of Korea National Arboretum by investigating satisfaction and requirements on exhibition program of visitors. The conclusions according to the analysis are as follows. First, the respondents knew three or four kinds of aquatic plants. And it was confirmed that the higher the age, appeared to know and recognize more species of aquatic plants. Second, overall satisfaction and intent of revisiting was high, especially due to the exhibit of various and rare species and the chance to see the plants in their habitat. In addition, although the satisfaction of leaflet and interpretation board were high, the specification of contents was required. Third, the visitors wish to know about the ‘function and characteristic of plants’. It was also required to exhibit continuously endangered, rare or endemic species. In addition, the experimental activities required by visitors differed by gender and age. Also, the survey results show the needs of various education materials on aquatic plants, coordinators and security guards in experimental activities. As the results, the strategic management based on exhibition techniques of various and rare species, the efficiency of space and the improvement of experimental program to manage effective exhibition on aquatic plants were required.
