Despite Han Wave fever and more interest in traditional culture, the number of Korean costume curriculum and Korean costume major professor is continuously decreasing. So, most Hanbok curriculum is run by part-time lecturer, not by tenure professors. College(2~3 years) is gradually decreasing Hanbok lectures since Hanbok enterprise is not willing to employ students who enrolled at Hanbok curriculum. Hanbok curriculum can be divided into 3 parts: Hanbok Making, Hanbok Design, History of Korean Costume. To make college run Hanbok curriculum, Hanbok majors should try in 4 manners. First, Hanbok major professors should advertise the importance of Hanbok curriculum. To accomplish this, Hanbok part of costume society should actively advertise the importance of Hanbok costume and professors should designate Hanbok curriculum as mandatory subject. Second, Hanbok Making part should reform its curriculum to meet the demands of students and modern sense. Also, new contents should be developed to make History of Korean Costume part more comprehensible. Third, Hanbok major should make public more aware of the importance and the beauty of Hanbok by using public campaign advertisement. As public get more aware of Hanbok, costume society will also enhance the interest in Hanbok curriculum. Fourth, Hanbok major professors should study extensively about design sense, marketing, color and fabrics combined with expert knowledge of traditional costume, so they can be able to take care of other major lecture. This study investigated by visiting each college"s homepage. So, if homepage wasn"t updated, there can be difference between currently progressed lectures and this study"s statistics. This study have only focused on Hanbok curriculum of college. So in future, further study of Hanbok curriculum of university(4 years) and graduate school is expected.
