The present paper deals with the study on the relationship between instructional behavior patterns of community exercise leaders and group cohesiveness. As tools for the study, questionnaires were used and their replies were collected. After deduction of those which were found to be unreliable or incomplete from collected ones, 386 replies were put to computer for analysis by means of SPSS WIN 18.0 statistical program package. For the purpose of verifying validity of the data, factor analysis was performed, and to confirm their reliability, Cronbach’s α coefficient was computed as well as Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted, resulting in the following : First, positive correlation was revealed from among the patterns of explanatory instruction, managerial instruction and positive feedback in group society cohesiveness, cohesivenesss of group task, individual society and personal task as sub-factors of group cohesiveness of community sports leaders. Whereas, however, negative correlation was confirmed from the negative feedback. Second, cohesiveness of group task, personal society and personal task as sub-factors of group cohesiveness turned out to have positive impact upon managerial instruction and positive feedback as group behavioral patterns but it was found that they exercised no impact upon explanatory instruction and negative feedback. As for group cohesiveness, it was shown to have positive influence upon managerial instruction while no impact was found from explanatory instruction, negative feedback and positive feedback.
