This study was to investigate the contents of the 9th World Soft Tennis Championship photographed through 8mm V.T.R, capture the technical contents of present soft tennis, have the purpose of presenting theoretical bases needed for the improvement of the techniques and the training direction of Korean national team. The results were summarized as follow l. In case of total succeed trials, it, was shown that Korean national team succeed following techniques such as passing shot, receive, and smashing, and Japan national team succeed trials were the passing shot, running stroke, and top techniques in order, respectively. 2. In case of total failed trials, the Korean and Japan national teams were shown that the most failed skills are the passing shot and receive techniques and the passing shot techniques, respectively. 3. In case of total trials, it was shown that the Korean and Japan national team tried frequently the lobbing, service and ground stroke technique in order, respectively. 4. In case of total trials, the forehand stroke techniques frequency were higher than the backhand stroke techniques(Korea;96.1%, Japan; 95.1 %). Base on this results, it could be suggested as (1) should be emphasized on passing shot technique, (2) it was needed necessarily to practice at lobbing technique resulting from holding games on the indoor or chemical court instead of the clay court as a result of the development of facilities. We need to study more seientifically.
