That is, the main purpose of this research is to understand how much the main characteristics of Korean tradition, such as authoritarianism, family-centered values, officialism, fatalism, static humanism, and generalism, have been affected administrators` attitudes and to understand the forms of the administration of physical culture by examining the correlation between the tradition and the specialty of the administration of physical culture and the government-run administration of physical. Administrators of physical culture more recognized authoritarianism, family-centered values, and moral obligation theory as the influential tradition, meanwhile static humanism, generalism, and fatalism were less recognized. The administrators` recognition point of the administration of physical was below 2.4 in the field of specialty (such as the constitution, personnel affairs, and operation). And the average recognition point of the government-run administration of physical was 2.2, which means the administrators believe that there is close relationship between the elite sports policy and the enhancement of national honor. The recognition difference points of the administrators of physical culture are as follows: In the respect of administrators native places, the recognition point of Chungcheong-Do was 2.22; Seoul Kyeonggi-Do, 2.32; Kangwon-Do, 2.41; Kyeongsang-Do, 2.42; Cheolla-Do, 2.43. In the respect of working places, the average recognition point of tradition was 2.15 in Inchon; 2.21 in Chungchungbuk-Do; 2.20 in Kwangju; 2.22 in Chungcheongnam-Do; 2.30 in Ulsan; 2.31 in Seoul; 2.41 in Kwangwon-Do and in Cheollabuk-Do; 2.44 in Cheollanam-Do; 2.48 in Busan; 2.53 in Taejun and in Kyungsangbuk-Do; 2.65 in Jeju; 2.66 in Taegu. There was the correlation between the characteristics of tradition (such as family-centered values, the moral obligation theory, static humanism, and fatalism) and the specialty of the administration of physical, and this means that the more characteristics of tradition are in administrators sense of value, the stronger correlation between the tradition and administrators there exists. The results of the Multiple Regression Analysis, which was used to examine the influence of the characteristics of tradition on the specialty of the administration of physical, showed that family-centered values (Beta=.183), fatalism (Beta=.127) were over the significant level (p<.05).
