The purpose of this study is to provide the basic information to investigate into the motivation of people with a disability`s participation in physical activity by the analysis of open questionnaire according to all the influence on the participation and it has also the main purpose for the establishment of the test tool for the motivation of the participation in physical activity. The total 390 targets of this study were selected and this only excluded people with intellectual disability. The test tool was open questionnaire and it was amended and supplemented after preliminary survey and the experts` meeting. Directly recording was used for the data collection of this study and the assistance of the researchers was provided for those students who had the problems of the ability to write and read. The content analysis and cross tabulation analysis were used for the data analysis. The followings are the result of this study. First, the motivation of people with a disability`s participation in the physical activity was classified with 23 first; then, it was sort out with 12 small areas. Finally, it was sort out with 6 big areas such as physical area, psychological area, area of a fun, rehabilitation area, recreational area and non-motivation. Second, disability type of motivation was in order of majority such as physical, psychological and social factors with main influence. In case of the people with visual impaired, the followings such as physical, psychological and fun factors were in sequence and people with hearing impaired, on the other hand, had psychological, social, physical and fun factors for the effects on the motivation in the physical activity participation. The physical, psychological and fun factors made the influence in sequence on the People with brain lesions and others had physical, fun, psychological and social factors in sequence for the motivation of participation in the physical activity.
