If a language has molded the structure of mind, myth is the first expression by language and because of this, myth equals the ancients’ minds. The article studies how the ancients coexist with the nature through the bear myth in Korea and Northeast Asia. Especially, the article focused on communication with images of nations through a mythical event of a marriage between humans and animals.
The article focuses on the point that it is a quite Nature-Friendly expression that the myth of Dangun embodies god, nature and humans, and two sacred gave birth to Dangun. On the contrary, the story of Gomnaru is that bear and human had split and bear killed its child and suicided itself. Because of this reason, Gomnaru is not myth, it is fork tale. In addition, the story of myth of bear and fork tale of Gomnaru have different intentions. Myth of bear in Northeast Asia wishs people’s life but Gomnaru in Korea tells us about people’s death which against shipwrecked order.
Gomnaru shows us same scene as these days that human and animal break up their relationship. However, mythical think shows us equivalent relationship between human and animal. For now, human’s desire for mythical think is a logical conclusion because humans cannot even communicate with each other. To conclude, human can solve this kind of zeal through to re-enact mythical think.
