The purpose of this study is to reconsider on the real condition of selection and assign of chinese chacters for beginning students in Korea. There is two institutions for beginners, one is middle school as an official organization and another is test institute as a private agency. According to result of study, there we re quite a few problems with this conditions and to correct that we must do it as follows.
First, must to survey all of chinese chacters that is used in the past and now in Korea on the frequency, range of use, ability of organization of components, ability of organization of words.
Secondly, in order to apply the survey and analysis result to practical instruction, also make reserch on weighted value of apply about four section came up in above.
Finaly, to de cide s cope of sele ction and assign of chinese chacte rs b ased on r e sult of reserch on the four sections.
