This study is a basic work to systematize animation subjects by considering the social environment that has rapidly changed because of the development of computer technology and cultural art educators’ capabilities. To adapt to these two trends and to develop a professional production ability, an academic ability for overall convergence and a creative computer utilization ability are needed. By reviewing the minimum essential subjects and curriculum that fulfill the two conditions, the five areas and four types of teaching methods that build an academic ability for convergence and the necessary ability for the digital environment were produced. For systematization of an education innovation, a digital algorism was applied that makes new rules and was set through a calculation process to solve problems based on the input data. The study, which develops five areas of the outline program of instruction, was based on “esthetic education” by an integrated approach of Herbert Read’s art education and Johannes Itten’s educational basic intension that applied “physical movement and vitality” to a formative art education. As Itten dealt with a tense area between reason and non-reason for an education method for practice, the teaching method of the curriculum of five areas, the cognition of 0 and 1, and a block coding were utilized to simply but effectively re-conceptualize animation education.
