The purpose of this study is to investigate the name change of the governmental position in Silla dynasty. The governmental position of Silla divided into 京位(17 ranks) and 外位(11 ranks). 京位 17 ranks were composed of -干支 (1-9 ranks) and -第智(or 帝智) (12-17 ranks) without suffix. In this paper, I investigated the name change of the governmental position focusing on the type of -干支 by surveying the epigraphs of silla and foreign history books after the sixth century, especially 日本 書記. The dominant changes were occurred at the suffix and the trends were `-干支>-干>-尺干>-浪. And, the causes of the change were understood as below. ① Elimination of `支`: -干支 was used until the epigraph of Jyuksung(551). But, 支 was eliminated after that time. The cause was understood as the superposition of 支 and an honorific affix after personal name. ② Insertion of `尺`: `-尺干` was used some parts of the governmental position names from the epirgraph of SunSu(561) at Changnyung. The insertion of 尺 was not explained at a point of a phonemic environment. Therefore, I considered that 尺 was analogically interpreted from 一尺, 阿尺 of 外位. ③ Change of `-尺干 > -浪`: `-干支` was followed by 浪. This was understood as the syllabic contraction. ④ Reading sound of `尺干` and `浪`; The use of 尺 was same along after ages and its seemed [tsa(h)] by considering the borrowed sound as the origin of reading sound. The reading sound of 干 at that time can be guessed near the [han], because 干 was mainly used as an alternative of 匣母字(Y). `-浪` was seemed as the contraction of [tsahan]. But it seemed that [ts`an] was not clear until ninth century. It seemed that [ts`an] was established late in the ninth century by considering the mixed usage of 浪 and 黎 at the end of the ninth century.
