This thesis is the Lexical Study on the Famine Relief Food which is recorded in the Famine Relief and agricultural books. When marked the name of Famine Relief Food in this books, Wrote and explained the Chinese characters. And then also recorded in Hangul with the Chinese characters. In this books, there are many names of Famine Relief Food. This thesis is studied on the orthography and lexical meaning of the Famine Relief Food. The lexical meaning of the Famine Relief Food on the 救荒撮要，救荒撮要?瘟方， 新刊救荒撮要 are the followings. I studied on the diffetent meaning of `` 젼국`` and ``메주``, `` 우케``, ``속새``, 셔투리나믈 and so on. The lexical meaning of the Famine Relief Food on the agricultural books are the followings. 1) I studied on the meaning relation of 븕나무-북나무, ?-``芋``, 도토리-상수리, 둥굴레-듁[고어본문참조]블희, 何首烏-[고어본문참조]박, [고어본문참조]무우-쉿무우, 兎絲子-[고어본문참조]삼씨, 薺菜-낭이, 羊蹄根-솔읏블회, 檀葉-[고어본문참조]나무닙, ?葉-늣희닙, 小?-고욤, 蒿葉-쑥닙, 貫衆-회초미블회, 荏子-들[고어본문참조]. 2) I studied on lexical meaning of the 烏芋, 百合, 말암, [고어본문참조]연밤 and so on.
