This study is to suggest desirable promotion of health by analyzing elderly’s health promotion activities and grasping the effect of the activities on life satisfaction, further, based on the results it offers the base line data for efficient and effective improvement of life satisfaction.
As a result of the analysis on the health promotion activities in accordance with general characteristics, gender, allowance, and economic level are significant related factors in statistics. The result of analysis on life satisfaction depending on general characteristics showed that gender, age, religion, housemate, allowance, and economic level are statistically significant. The multiple regression analysis of the effect of health promotion activity on life satisfaction suggested that physical, social and emotional health have positive influences in statistics.
In order to improve senior health promotion strategy and live satisfaction, physical and mental functions of senior class should be considered thoroughly in order to develop health promotion program. The improvement also requires social conditions.
