Division 70 years, the new direction of unification discourses and unification education contents is to actually spread ‘a shared yearning toward a reunified country’, not only the integration of existing political, economic and institutional Unification profit, but also through the cultural and emotional approach of ‘integration between people’.
This paper aims to research ways how to develop new contents discovering the cultural heritage associated with local cultural property in terms of the division from ‘Unification cultural security’ point of view. So in this article, we first define the concept of unification cultural security. And this article attempts to reconstruct through storytelling about the area of the division, war-related sites related to unification-culture.
Through this point of view, this research reified the concept of ‘experiential-cognitive work-study program for local unification education’ and suggested ‘the experiential-cognitive storytelling contents’ in Gamcheon Culture Village.
