The liberation of Korea in the 1940s and the defeat of Japan arrived, most Korean independence movement organizations in China were incorporated into The Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea(大韓民國臨時政府). Therefore, The Korean Interim Parliament(臨時議政院) was introduced a multiparty system. Common goal of the ruling party and the opposition was resistance to Japan and establish a country, but the different views on specific activities and idea of the political situation.
In particular, opposition lawmakers have raised the issue about administration of The Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea and cabinet members"s excessive rights, moreover limited status and function of The Korean Interim Parliament. Such congressional action is not a mere power struggle, the cause was dual attributes of The Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea"s ‘government only’ and one of the institutions of the independence movement area and constitutional amendment process to overcome them.
As a result, The New Korea Democratic Party(新韓民主黨) was founded in 1942 by goals of the new representative organization with a openness and representativeness to replace The Korean Interim Parliament and entire reconstruction of The Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. The New Korea Democratic Party staged a struggle for The Korean Interim Parliament functional recovery and the holding of representative convention of independence fighters that integrate the entire independence area.
