In this study, new elastoplastic capability of AFDEX 2D/EP is presented. B-bar type solid element is utilized to eliminate locking behavior occurred in incompressible material deformation. Large deformation is considered by using an appropriate large strain measure independent of rotation. Stress objectivity is achieved by using rotated stress. Stress integration is carried out by radial return method for von Mises yield function. Newton-Raphson method is used to find the solution with consistent tangent modulus. Drawing of rod is simulated by developed program. Compared to the solution by rigid-plastic program, elastoplastic program shows merits in springback behavior and stress prediction. Consequently, the developed program shows potentials for elastoplastic simulation of other metal forming problems.
