The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of image training on psychological function and performance in after-school. For this verification, 11 high school students based in Gyeonggi-do was selected as research participants. Image training program, which respectively specialized to each participant has been applied every 10 times for 2 weeks and the imagery ability, self-efficacy, and cognitive state anxiety were measured by self-administration method via questionnaires and performance was measured by means of 10m round trip running, in-place long jump. The data obtained through this study has been executed paired t-test by purpose following a descriptive statistics and time period as tapping in to IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 program. As results, the mean results of student"s image training analyzed by descriptive statistics showed that there is a difference in the improvement of imagery ability and performance. The result tested by paired t test by times showed that significant results were not obtained statistically in self-efficacy, cognitive state anxiety, and in-place long jump but in imagery ability and 10m round trip running. In overall, through this verification, it is verified that the image training has a positive effect on the class for whom physical education prep students.
