Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the Parent-child body play program on the development of communication intention of child before language is established. The subjects of the study were three children who showed language development before language time from 5 to 9 years and had difficulty in interacting. The first research question is whether there is a change in the proto-imperative. the second research question is whether there is a change in the proto-declarative. The third research question is whether there is a change in the calling function to focus attention on oneself. The fourth research question is whether there is a change in the ongoing message delivery function when communication fails. The fifth research question is how it affects the amount of vocalization. Methods: In order to measure the effects of the Parent-child body play program, it was performed for 50 minutes at a time, twice a week for a total of 10 times. In the pre-post evaluation, parents and children were allowed to play for 50 minutes, and their communication, intention behavior was compared and analyzed by scoring them as communication paper. Results: The results of the study showed that the Parent-child body play program positively influenced the development of children’s basic communication intention and the amount of utterance. In addition, mother’s participation naturally led to active parent education, which improver children’s joint attention ability and increased parental communication responses to children. Conclusions: The purpose of this study is to recognize the importance of parental involvement in the development of early childhood communication intention and to provide an intervention program that can be used in language therapy.
