This study examined the effects of visiting food safety education of the Center for Children’s Foodservice Management on children’s foodservice hygiene management. The status of hygiene management of children’s foodservice was assessed according to the cumulative number of visiting education using an inspection checklist for food hygiene. The subjects were 87 institutional foodservices for children that belonged to the Gangseo Center for Children’s Foodservice Management in 2017. The inspection checklist consisted of six categories (environmental hygiene, personal hygiene, food materials hygiene, food processing hygiene, storage, and other hygiene). The rate of compliance foodservice of hygiene management with 3 items of food materials increased significantly according to the cumulative number of visiting. The rate of compliance foodservice with 5 items of food processing management increased according to the cumulative number of visits. The rate of compliance foodservice with 1 item of storage management increased significantly according to the cumulative number of visits. The practice score of the 4<SUP>th</SUP> visit on environment management was the highest. The practice score of the 1st visit on food processing management and other management were the lowest. Based on these results, continuous visit and education support from the Center for Children’s Foodservice Management had positive effects on the hygiene management of children’s foodservice.
