This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between perception of safety education and self - esteem of sports participants. The tools used in the research were the questionnaire. A total of 203 questionnaires were distributed for the final analysis. As a data processing method, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used to derive the results. The conclusions and discussions are as follows. First, it was shown that the members of safety education of sports participants had a positive influence on the moment of action and perceived sensitivity factors, which are sub-factors of positive self-esteem. Second, it was shown that perceived sensitivity had a greater influence on behavioral factors than negative factors of self-esteem. Third, positive self-esteem had a greater influence on negative self-esteem than behavior self-esteem. Fourth, the perceived obstacles, which is a sub- factor of the perception of safety education of sports participants, have positive (+) influence on perceived obstacle factor and negative self-esteem. Fifth, Perceived sensitivity, which is a sub-factor of perceptions of safety education of sports participants, showed that negative self-esteem had a greater effect than positive self- esteem.
