This study considered the characteristics of athleisure wear shown in male street fashion. Fashion item’s characteristics were analyzed and characteristics of fashion color and tone were analyzed to make prototypes for each fashion image. Study results are summarized as follows. First, characteristics of each fashion item were analyzed. Second, color tone for each fashion color was analyzed to derive fashion color characteristics of athleisure wear shown in male street fashion. PB pale color tone and PB, R, YR color dark grayish color tone appeared in order and P color showed the lowest distribution in all color tones. Third, characteristics of male athleisure wear shown in street fashion were grouped for prototyping, and three types of mix match type (cross-over, strong personality sports set-up type and daily life sports casual) were suggested. Mix match of athleisure wear containing unique taste and preference of male consumer. It means the possibility of various utilization of athleisure wear in daily life with mix match of casual items and sporty style. This study examined athleisure wear shown in male street fashion to the point that athleisure wear was analyzed as street fashion styled by ordinary men themselves and not for fashion display methods based on sense, creativity or the artistic sense of designers shown in designer collections. This led to the possibility of utilizing athleisure wear in daily male fashion and allowed for diversified fashion adaptation methods and display methods to be contemplated.
