The purpose of this study is promoting new tourism industry within the area of Jeju. This study has been conducted with the main research on healthcare industry with the purpose of establishing new tourism development model. The world trend of tourism is increasing the higher quality of life and the society is getting aging. According to these trend, Jeju Area needs to develop and foster healthcare industry which connect with home and abroad tourism industry. This study suggests several opinions to foster new strategic industry combine with healthcare industry as follows: Firstly, tourism and healthcare are required to be collaborated to grow the demand. Secondly, Jeju Area has a large floating population then collaborative service with medical and healthcare will be the main factors for success. From these viewpoints, the several businesses including Eco-Tourism Complex Town, Jeju Ocean Therapy Community have been provided as the development model for healthcare service industry through the case studies of healthcare industry home and abroad.
