This discussion starts from doubts and self-examine on existing writing education whether it has discrimination as the college composition. In this article, I have tried to diagnose reflectively the present situation and also set a outlook for self-introducing writings. As problems in self-introducing writings in college composition, I have pointed out the simplicity which came from temporary or elementary recognition of theme, non-freshness and non-efficiency from plane construction of text, partiality from practical or technical writing. Through this diagnosis I reconfirmed that penetrating the wide area which college composition should include is the foundation of so called introspective writing. As the meaning of self-examine is most important to college students who live in this rapidly changing world, it is also important to reflect the present situation of education that is apt to treat the self-introducing writing as a minor details regardless of self-examine. Above all, various application of literary (cultural) educational approach is needed when we think of realistic context that demands dismantling of witing boundary, and to arouse critical mind publicly on this is needed as well.
