Methodological Study of the Korean language teacher's Reflection on Practical KnowledgeChoi, In-Ja This study aims to introduce ‘Reflective narrative inquiry’ as education & research practical knowledge of korean language education. The practical knowledge is very important to develop teacher's confessionalism. The teacher transforms the objective knowledge in order to adapt real classroom situation. Their school practice is presupposed practical knowledge. The practical knowledge is narrative knowing. It is contextual, subjective, changeable. The merit of narrative research is to capture the richness and delicate meaning of teacher's experience. In Reflective narrative inquiry, teacher tells and writes own life story to extend knowledge and shape new recognition. The procedure of this study is 1. write and tell teacher' own life story. 2. reading and reflect own story 3.share and discussion own life story. As Example, I tried the case study of two korean language education teacher novice. As a result, the knowledge of ‘self’ changed. ‘The competent korean language teacher’ changed into ‘the good korean language teacher. With reflective narrative inquiry’, teacher can recognize and reconstruction own knowledge in expansive context.
