This paper aims to analyze the error patterns of Korean learners in using Chinese existential expressions based on learning period. This paper is the follow-up study of Jaewon Yoo & Yoonjeong Kim(2008. A Study on the Interlanguage of Korean Learners of Chinese Existential Expressions: An Analysis and List of Error Patterns, Chinese Studies, vol. 43, pp.159-188). Standing on the preceding study, the categorical and constructional analysis of errors from the compositions of 47 students who were attending the "Chinese Composition" course opened as a second major course for juniors will be also given, but this paper especially focuses on the leaning period for the analysis. The learning period is divided into five stages by every 200 hours, it will be mentioned that what the error patterns are like in every stage of learning period. This paper is formed of following discussions: (1) to examine the error patters in every stage of learning period; (2) to analyze the frequency of error patterns in every stage of learning period; (3) to suggest the essential error patterns in every stage of learning period based on the analysis of error patters of high frequency; (4) to examine the error patterns of five existential expressions in every stage of learning period.
