This study is an experimental study about the effectiveness of ICT(Information & Communication Technology) materials as input sources in English listening comprehension in the primary English education. This study was carried out with subjects from a fourth grade in an elementary school. The 24 students of the experimental group were taught listening materials by using ICT whereas the 24 students of the controlled group were taught by printed texts and audio-tape. The effectiveness of studying English using ICT was analyzed by a comparison of the degree of accomplishment between two groups. The students interest, self-confidence, anxiety and English listening ability were analyzed through a survey. The results of this study are as follows: First, the application of English teaching using ICT input materials has greatly improved the English listening comprehension. Second, the interest of the students toward English learning has been improved greatly with the result of a variety of comprehensible input source and activities for affective filter. Third, self-confidence of the students for English learning has been affected by various activities that adopted in this study.
