This study focuses on surveying and examining the science teachers' perceptions of science teaching. Instrument consists a total of 25 items on a 5-Likert scale(score range from 1 to 5) in five domains; perceptions of science subject matter, perceptions of students, perceptions of yourself as a science teacher, perceptions of your purpose as a science teacher, and perceptions of teaching tasks. Subjects are 342 science teachers(129 elementary and 123 secondary school teachers) The level of science teachers' perception of science teaching was slightly higher than common(mean 3.54). The highest level of domains was perceptions of the teaching task, and the lowest was perceptions of yourself as a science teacher. There was no statistical difference between male and female science teachers' perception of science teaching, and among educational career groups. However, elementary school teachers had lower levels of science teachers' perceptions of science teaching than secondary school teachers. Positive changes of science teachers' perceptions of science teaching was brought about due to pre-service and in-service programs, and teacher-training system.
