서론 : 저자들은 이전 연구에서 노화에 따라 CD4-CD8- doublenegative T (DN T) 세포가 감소하는 것을 보고하였다. 본 연구에서는 세부적으로 노화에 따른 DN T 세포의 두 아형, 즉TCR DN T 세포와 TCR DN T 세포의 변화에 대하여 조사하였다.방법 : 건강한 젊은이군(26.9± 2.5세, N=15)과 노인군(67.7±3.4세, N=15), 노화 연관 질환이 있는 노인군에서 T 세포 아형을 3색 염색하여 유세포분석법으로 분석하였다.결과 : 총 T 세포에서 총 DN T 세포, TCR DN T 세포및 TCR DN T 세포의 비율은 각 젊은이군에서 7.4 ± 4.9%,3.9± 2.9%, 3.5± 2.5%, 노인군에서 3.5± 2.2%, 1.8± 1.6%, 1.6±1.5%으로, 각 아형 모두 노화에 따라 유의하게 감소하였다(둘 다P<0.05). 건강노인군과 노화 연관 질환 노인군간의 유의한 차이는발견할 수 없었다.
결론 : 본 연구는 저자들의 이전 보고를 확인하였고, 세부적으로 DN T 세포의 두 아형 모두가 감소하는 것을 관찰하였다. 노화에 따른 DN T 세포 두 아형의 감소와 노화 연관 질환과의 관련성에 대하여 더 자세한 조사가 필요하다.
