Recently digital printing has been generally available. The wide use of the printing results in great interest in the inkjet printing. Inkjet printing has been improved from the use of 3 colors to the use of 12 colors. The increase in the number of ink indicates a technological development to broaden the limit of color representation. At present the maximum support of inkjet printing of manufacturing companies is different. Canon and HP companies support the ink of 12 colors at the highest. Epson company supports the ink of eight colors. Epson uses the method of CMYK printing. Canon and HP companies use the method of CMYK plus RGB ink. There are characteristic differences in the printing methods of color representation. This study is to investigate the characteristics of ink representation in the printing methods of different printer manufacturing companies. This study used a chart that It made by myself to recognize the characteristics of color representation of different ink. The charts have been respectively printed using the inkjet printer of each company. This study analyzed spectral reflection rate, density and color tone by reading the colors of the charts
