The purpose of this paper is to attempt to explore and accept the characteristics and the world view of cyber literature through studying its theory and works. In order to systematize and theorize cyber literature, I first examine the general trend of the theory in cyber literature and its application into literary works. After examining the theory, I discuss the various genres of cyber literature such as internet literature, hypertext literature, the narrative of computer games, and interactive movie to seize the essence of cyber literature. Cyber literature or digital culture cannot be regarded as the concept of future literature or culture any longer. Cyber literature has already occupied the central part of our lives; moreover it has a direct influence on the type of life and the way of thinking in effect. Nowadays the integral media comes to emerge by mixing letter with image and sound, which transcends the change from letter media to image media, the shift from printed culture to electronic culture, and change from analog narrative structure to writing model according to hightech digital media. It goes without saying that this Copernican shift has evoked a new utterance form and narrative structure. It is anachronistical that paper book is thought of as the only one literary text form. The boundary of literature has been expanded to include visual language ,interactivity, nonlinearity, and audio-visuality in digital media instead of narratology. In this new situation, moral judgement and thematic evaluation needs to be reappropriated. There is no denying that cyber literature has played an avantgarde part in digital culture. The concept such as cyber culture, digital period, and electronic literal text has tried to take root in the spirit of the age.
