In early 1920s, the youth body in Daejeon(대전) area was mainly composed of regional influences like Japanese government officials or capitalists, so it is hard to categorize it as a real youth body. Youth bodies worked with main objectives like cultivating three virtues of intelligence, morality and physique, distribution of education, promotion of industry and discipline of morality. In mid 1920s, the youth body in Daejeon area was mainly led by socialists. Youth bodies turned to board of execution system according to the organizational system and activity of national youth bodies and developed proletarians-oriented activity. In the end of 1920s, the movement changed from proletarians-oriented to nationalism. Youngsters adjusted their activity to that of national stream ; they activated the weakened movement of each part and made efforts to form a popular movement body.People who were active in youth bodies in 1920s played also the leading role in social movements like peasant movement and labor movement in Daejeon area. They activated the social movement in Daejeon area, but on the other hand, blocked the efficient activity by dispersing the capability of youth movement.
