This article is written to lay a new scheme of teaching method in Korean law school to be opened next year. Focused on criminal law, it suggests to lecturers that they should use combined methods of teaching, not one, to foster participants to be competent for practicing legal services as lawyers. Conventional lecture method of explaining related matters and theories by a solo show is known to be effective teaching skill in interpreting individual provisions and accounting for judicial precedents. So this article recommends lecture method as the starting way of teaching, while proposing to give variety to lecture by audio-visual aids. Case method and socratic method are also recommended as the inevitable teaching skills in law school, especially to make up for demerits of lecture method. But we should meet several conditions (particularly appropriate scale of participants and communication capability of lecturers) for performing case method and socratic method successfully. For that reason, we need supplementary measures in case of large amounts of participants or immature skills of lecturers. This article proposes to use internet, because we can deal successfully with some restrictions of real class in cyber space. In addition, problem based learning and several methods for letting students participate in a lecture more actively are also introduced in this article.
