This study was related to dance performance application of the emotional labor and social exchange theory which are limited to service industry and company organization. The purpose of the study was to identify the causal relationship between emotional labor, leader/team-member exchange and participation satisfaction of dance performance. Subjects of the study were selected out of members of national, municipal, provincial, and private dance groups across the nation in 2008. Sampling was performed by convenience method. Total 481 questionnaires were collected expecting untrustful 19. The data were recorded and analyzed using the SPSS 14.0 and AMOS 7.0 statistical computer package to do a exploratory factor analysis. The results from Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Model are follows. First, emotional labor has significantly influenced on sense of duty and responsibility in organization commitment. Second, emotional labor has negatively influenced on sense of psychological unity. Third, only TMX of social exchange has influenced on both sense of duty and responsibility. Fourth, only TMX has significantly influenced on sense on psychological unity. Fifth, both sense of duty and responsibility in organization commitment have influenced on both individual achievement and public contribution of participation satisfaction of dance performance. Sixth, psychological unit has influenced both individual achievement and public contribution of participation satisfaction of dance performance.
