It is no exaggeration to say that dance art has been developed to form a new dance culture when culture, art and philosophy of a society changes based on the body. The characteristics of body in the dance art makes it possible to think that the cogitation system of human living this era could shaped the movement the way they think and could be affected by culture, history and philosophy of a society. New genre named the dance art came into existence from the world war during late nineteen centuries to early twenty centuries. So the dance art came to have the characteristics not of heading for beauty but of expressing human nature as it is. So, this research starts from the critical mind with the questions like "the dance culture after the war was expressed to the all race in the same form?" The socio-cultural situation such as war could affect the aspects not only in the dance art but also in other arts. The situation also has affected the selection of art subjects to the theme choice, change of expression methods, role of art and so on. Various factors could influence the formation of racial dance art but the racial traits could be the most direct factor in the base of formation. It is because idealistic cogitation system of the Germanic race in Germany and that of Japanese, island race might give a opportunity to focus on internal world implied in the real world rather than to focus on the real world itself. Unlike this, we could know by the characteristics of ground play having a form a one kind of dance, racial characteristics of Korea is "humor" and it ironically expresses the dark side of hardness or distress of the real world and reveals the national emotion to overcome real world through dance art.
