The city of Seoul planned to create Samil-daero, the birthplace of the March 1st Movement, as a historic space as part of the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Movement in 2019. It was not enough to revive its meaning because it could not be realized. In addition, although the March 1st Movement celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019, it is reported that there are few families who have raised the national flag, and thus there is a lack of public awareness about the March 1st Movement. In the Insa-dong, Samil-daero, the base of the March 1st Movement, there is no memorial hall to commemorate the March 1st Movement. Therefore, in order to cultivate the meaning and history of the March 1st Movement, it was planned to redevelop as the base of the March 1st Movement through the redevelopment to examine the interests, identities, national consciousness, historical pride, unity, and opportunities for the establishment and development of the government. We will redevelop the March 1st Memorial Memorial Hall, Citizens" Experience Hall, National PR Center, 100 Memorial Hall, and three-bagger .3.1 Days Street to remind people of forgotten citizenship and historical values. The plan is to raise the unity and value by spreading the three-day streets and to publicize the March 1st Movement. These spaces represented the passage of time of the day, remembering the historical flow, and praying for a change of consciousness through experience and wishing for the future rise of the nation through mourning. In order to recreate the space of historical meaning, it is evaluated and reflected in the plan. In addition, Citizens will participate to resolve the lack of citizenship, and the complex cultural facility will be established to revive the meaning of the March 1st Movement and to empathize with anyone. Through these spatial plans, we will convey accurate information about the March 1st Movement, increase its value, and remind us of our identity, citizenship, historical pride and national spirit.
