Yi"s film theory was discussed along the line of the literary movement which presupposed the independence war. He regarded Marxism as a concrete methodology of revolution and set his own work as a literary activity. Apart from writing poetry, he considered the possibility of cinema as an important medium for forming Noospheare. Unlike fiction, photography replaces the function of naturalistic details, and film is more spectacular and suspenseful. Not only is it possible to revive the senses that can become dulled, but it also has the outstanding potential to be compared with any medium in terms of reality. Above all, he does not directly refer to the methodology of revolution in the theory of film, but it does seem to metaphorically express the class and the avant-garde by referring to "collectivity". In particular, I felt that I was attracted to the formation of Noospheare through films such as The earth (1930), Turksib (1930), The good earth (1937). This is a re-recognition of the educational function of films in the sense that the Korean people should not lose their subjectivity in order to become the driving force of the struggle in the War of Independence.
