There have been arguments that the contents of history education should be organized systematically. Securing the affiliates in the history curriculum has also been tried in many ways and has been applied to actual school sites. But what is more necessary than the seemingly systematic presentation of this table of contents is the actual systematicization of historical content. Rather than simply differentiating the arrangement or composition of the table of contents, it is necessary to organize the contents of the course according to the students" level of understanding and present appropriate activities.
History is more important in itself than other subjects. Therefore, it is essential to select and organize contents and describe them accordingly so that students can understand them. The curriculum that serves as the blueprint needs to be prepared with this in mind. The selection of the content must include a review of the research achievements on the subject. If we don"t look at the research results so far, not only will it be difficult to correct the errors that have been repeated for decades, but will also repeat the historical views of the past colonial era and the days of authoritarian politics.
It is not enough to correct only a few mistakes by the criticism of the curriculum researchers and scholars who participated in the textbook. It is imperative that a system be prepared to review research trends in each era and organize them so that they can be frequently reflected in the writing of textbooks
