Commercial complex since its first appearance, have evolved with various changes according to the development of society and cities. In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is difficult to predict how offline commercial places will change. Multi-commercial complex are becoming more and more mixed with many different purposes, and strategies for customers are getting fierce. In this situation, the space of a complex commercial complex needs to be studied. Therefore, this paper studied commercial complex in terms of human-environment interaction using agent-based model as a complex system research method. The purpose of this study is to provide an efficient guide to future commercial complex planning through pedestrian visual analysis and movement analysis according to the type of pedestrian area. Using the agent-based model, the spatial characteristics could be predicted by analyzing the visibility and pedestrian movement of each case. In addition, the analysis of navigational movement was conducted selecting the anchor tenants as the target. By getting the data of the arrival time and the amount of visual exposure the guide for tenant placement and pedestrian area was presented. Unlike the previous researches, this is a quantitative analysis of the space from the view of dynamic movement according to interaction of the space and the actors. The results of this study could be used in the design of commercial complex, and this analysis methodology could be used as a verification model for various alternatives when planning commercial buildings.
