Recently there have been many opinions on the Constitutional Revision. Most of those opinions are on the governmental system. Mass media and politicians' concern is on the governmental system and public opinion want to revise the Constitution too.But it is unnatural that public law scholars who have studied the Constitutional law for a long time do not express their professional opinions. So the Korean Public Law Association planed to examine the Constitutional Revision questionnaire to the KPLA members. The KPLA sent the questionnaire to all the members of the KPLA(about 600 members) by mail and e-mail. 152 questionnaires returned and were analysed.Number of those who want the Constitutional Revision is 77(51.0%) and that of thoes who do not want the Constitutional Revision is 73(48.3%). In effect, the result is half and half. The KPLA members are more careful than common people. They worry about that the Constitution would be injured by the politicians because history of the Constitutional Revisions showed it.This questionnaire analysis of the KPLA is the first attempt in the history of the Constitutional Revision. Many members of the KPLA say that the public law scholars should not be excluded in the process of the Constitutional Revision. And we want that there should be a seat that the KPLA participate in the process positively.
