This study aims to analyze what kind of belief Korean learners of Japanese language who registered for Japanese pronunciation classes have about the importance of and awareness about the pronunciation, and how those belief change as the classes progress. The findings are as follows: First, what set of belief a student has clearly influences their pronunciation. Second, pronunciation classes develop awareness of pronunciation. Third, the set of belief students have become more specific and diversified as the class progresses.
