The purpose of this study was to identify the individual’s position by studying the network analysis centered on learner’s physical activity in a middle school student group for 3 years. ‘A’ city’s ‘B’ public middle school 184 students in six classes (85 male students, 79 female students) were selected as research subjects. Peer nomination(Moreno, 1953) was used as one of the social measurement methods. After collecting the questionnaire collected for 3 years according to the 1 Mode coding procedure of social network analysis, the statistical program R program was used to create an image of the physical activity network structure and to analyze the properties of the network. Overall, the male group showed a tendency to weaken the degree of connection as one group was maintained, while the female group started from two loose groups and changed to one group with a strong degree of connection. In each group of boys and girls, there were physical activity hub and linkers, and outside groups there were isolated. Above all, the isolated who were not connected to anyone in the upper right appeared consistently from 2016, when they were in the first grade, to 2018 when they were in the third grade, and the number was found to be gradually increasing. The density, which indicates the close connection of the network, tended to decrease with the increase of the grade in the male student group, and increased with the increase of the grade in the female student group. In addition, the concentration of immersion toward the hub of the network tended to decrease and increase as the grade level increased in the case of the male student group. In the physical activity network of students in each school year, it was found that the hub group, the linker, and the isolated were clearly present together with the subgroup. In the field of school physical education, it is significant that a network was found in the network of physical activity among middle school students.
