The objective of this study is to develop the beauty educational contents suitable for the 4th industrial revolution era for middle and high school girls, so that they could usefully utilize the beauty culture that is rapidly spreading based on their desire for self-care and beauty as correct beauty education by easily accessing and using them in real time.
In the research methods, this study conducted a preliminary survey targeting middle and high school girls in the capital area. In the analysis technique, the frequency and percentage were calculated to examine the general characteristics of research subjects.
In the results of this study, total three types of contents were developed as follows.
First, in the virtual experience contents, the users could find the styles looking great on them by freely and virtually changing and experiencing the facial parts in their photos.
Second, the information contents provide the basic information essential for adolescents who are managing their appearance in total six areas such as skin diagnosis, skincare, basic makeup, cleansing, color makeup, and hair-care.
Third, in the social contents, the adolescents share their changed images in the virtual experience with others, and also get feedbacks from them, which could induce the spread of this application. This also provides the one-to-one talk contents for communication with experts.
In the application ‘Beauty Coach’ of this study, the students could get necessary information by installing the application and sharing feedbacks in real-time with friends with no limitations of time and space, and also get practical help to their appearance management by finding the styles looking great on them like makeup and hairstyle in the virtual experience, which could provide positive effects.
