Changes in the residential environment are now occurring in public rental housing. In other words, in addition to the physical supply, the quality of life of residents is important. Therefore, I would like to analyze the relationship between the community environment and housing satisfaction of residents in public housing. The research method examines the literature on community environment in public housing as well as community concepts and legal regulations. Case studies and current status of community environments actively utilize research conducted by SH. The scope of the study is limited to public rental housing implemented by SH. The report is based on a basic analysis report in September 2017, when a panel survey was started for residents of public housing in Seoul. The correlation between factors and variables affecting community environment and housing satisfaction was about 1% of significance level. In other words, there was no close correlation with several factors. First, the community environment affected the residential satisfaction of residents. On the other hand, there was no close correlation between the housing satisfaction and the verification result of each factor. Second, all variables such as average age, gender, marital relationship, household structure distribution by household type, number of households by rental type, and rental type were not related to housing satisfaction and community environment. Third, the community environment depends on housing satisfaction as a dependent variable.
