The transformation of modern society into a universal society has raised not only the advancement of information technology, but also the knowledge and interests of people. The exhibition space is also evolving with the growth of media technologies. As individuals, they must step away from passive exhibitions that can be seen in one direction or have their own purposes. Exhibitions based on projection mapping provide various characteristic experiences among the exhibition space that vary due to the evolution of media technology. The study was therefore performed by applying the flow theory of Csikszentmihalyi to support the audience’s experiences. Projection mapping of exhibition space allows visitors to enjoy new form of exhibition, based on virtual reality, without being limited by the size of space indoors. It is also space where viewers can feel the reality and connect with one another. In order to find out the importance of interactive exhibitions, extracting the elements of flow theory step by step and applying them to the media exhibition space is importance to analyze and apply domestic & global cases. We suggest a design that can support the experience of the audience through five case analyses. One in which is generating elements by the use of previous steps and the processing of flow theory data.
