Transportation is one of the major and important sectors of the economy of any country and its related costs are among the most important costs that constitute the cost of final products. Nowadays, as the business market becomes more competitive, organizations are required to reduce some costs, including transportation costs in their distribution systems and supply chain, in order to reduce the final selling price of their products. Moreover, due to the growing trend of urbanization and industrialization, the need for systems that can perform the transportation of goods and people as efficiently as possible has been considered more than ever by organizations. Meanwhile, due to the reduction of fuel reserves in the world and the growing need to optimize energy consumption in all organizations, transportation planning to reduce energy consumption and costs, as well as reducing pollution, which in turn reduces treatment costs and social problems, is extremely important. Therefore, in this study, it is assessed to present a mathematical model to examine the costs incurred in this area and optimize these costs to take an effective step in this regard.
