This study was conducted to investigate to select the light quality for germination rate improvement of three different medicinal crops which Limonium tetragonum (Thunb.) Bullock, Agastache rugosa (Fisch. & Mey.) Kuntze, and Ligularia fischeri (Ledeb.) Turcz. The seed disinfection was carried out using benomyl (Farmhannong benomyl, Farm Hannong Co. Ltd., Seoul, Korea) 500 mg·L<SUP>-1</SUP>. The different light treatments for this experiments were as follows: dark condition (control), red:blue = 7:3 (R7B3), red:blue = 5:5 (R5B5), red:blue = 3:7 (R3B7), red:green = 7:3 (R7G3), red:green = 5:5 (R5B5), red:green = 3:7 (R3G7), blue:green = 7:3 (B7G3), blue:green = 5:5 (B5G5), blue:green = 3:7 (B3G7), red:green:blue = 1:1:1 (R1B1G1), and white LED (W100), with a photoperiod of 12/12 (light/dark) and light intensity 150 ± 10 μmol·m<SUP>-2</SUP>·s<SUP>-1</SUP> photosynthetic photon flux density.
