In this study, a STEAM program for bio energy was devised and applied to 6th grade elementary school students to find out how this program influenced elementary school students’ self-efficacy and energy saving attitude. After applying the 9th session of this program, qualitative evaluations such as workbooks and interviews are analyzed, and pre- and post-tests are conducted, and the results are summarized as follows. First, the STEAM program for bio energy had a positive effect on improving the self-efficacy of elementary school students. After applying the program, students showed positive changes in their confidence, self-regulation efficacy, and task difficulty preference areas. Second, it was found that STEAM program for bio energy had a positive effect on the energy saving attitude of elementary school students. Students recognized that energy conservation is a necessary and important task while taking classes in a convergence talent education program on bioenergy, and they became interested in it. Third, through STEAM program for bio energy, elementary school students made an effort to connect with daily life. Students made plans to solve problems on their own and conducted activities such as experiments and productions, and came into contact with subjects related to real life in various ways. Based on the above research results, STEAM program for bioenergy has a positive effect on the self- efficacy and energy saving attitudes of elementary school students, and is valuable in that it allows students to think about the contents of science classes in connection with real life problems It can be seen that there is.
