The strategic standardization policy that should be managed at the national level to secure the international competitiveness of the beauty industry is very poor. In order for the beauty industry to develop into a new growth engine industry in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is necessary to develop a well-planned and systematic standardization of the beauty industry. This study is to investigate why standardization is needed in the field of beauty industry, and to examine the standardization of domestic and foreign beauty industry, and to improve what kind of bridgehead role the direct and indirect role of private level standardization policy of beauty industry which cooperated with government or government will play in fostering beauty industry and strengthening competitiveness which is one of the core industries of the fourth industrial era where service leads manufacturing in the future.
