The following are the results of studying nail art design using representative Pantone color trends by analyzing the interior design and interior accessory and analyzing the color trends of Penton from 2017 to 2020. The Greenery(Greenery 15-0343) color was selected in harmony with the pastel colors of ‘New Beginning’ and ‘First Day of Spring Season’ to express the freshness of spring and a warm and comfortable feeling, Ultra Violet(Ultra Violet 18-3838) expresses splendor and luxury, and uses Marvel to express mystique and curiosity, Living Coral(Living Coral 16-1546) gives comfort and expresses vitality, calmness and fullness, Classic Blue(Classic Blue 19- 4052) color was able to express the gorgeous and vintage style of light such as calmness, confidence, trust and stability. In addition, through the review of Pantone color trends, from 20 to 2019, a total of 20 colors of the year were selected similarly in 10-year or 5-year increments. Through the selection of Penton color trends, it was confirmed that the ease of color selection of existing nail art designs and the color trend share an inseparable area in the production of nail art works. Based on these considerations and information, color trends and color selection are first. It showed the individual's color preference, season, and ease of selection in fashion interior, second. By grasping the color and trend of the year, it was found that the nail art design using various materials and techniques can come up with more original ideas. This study confirmed that Pantone color trend affects nail art design and is considered to be highly likely to expand the expression area of nail art design.
